Dancing With Nakshatra On the Dias of Astrology Part 1

In this series I would try to explain to the students what is being done or has been done by the guys guided by invisible forces that are (and have been working since centuries) to destroy the Indian Classical Astrology. It is surprising that all these things emanate from the fertile soil of South India eating upon and huddled under the wide wings of Tamil wisdom. Thus, the intention is that if the mischief is detected, blame must go to Tamil society. So, I feel unhesitant in calling these efforts as a deep conspiracy against rare and reverened ancient Tamil wisdom. The deeper quest leads us to temples whence, these erupt forth as poison peels for Classical Indian Astrology. As such, it is necessary to peep into history as well before embarking upon actual discussion.

Vaidik Astrology And Vadanga

This term given by force to the Classical Indian Astrology is not only a misnomer but also smacks of conspiracy. Throughout the Veda, if we rummage it page by page and verse (Richa) by verse we don’t find anything that suggests the principles we apply while reading a birth chart or making predictions. Yet there have been invisible which continuously called the Classical Indian Astrology as Vadanga i.e. the organ of Veda. If Veda doesn’t have anything other than mention of the names of Nakshatra in scattered manner, how Astrology can be dubbed as Vedanga or the organ of Veda.

It must also be noted that 27 Nakshatras are nowhere listed at one place in the Vedas. Even the 27 number of Nakshatras are obtained through references by hook or crook. So, we can’t connect Classical Indian Astrology directly with Vedas. By this fact it is also wrong to call Classical Indian Astrology as stellar astrology. To call Classical Indian Astrology as stellar astrology and not Rashi (Sign based) it was first popularized by the name of Vaidik Astrology. This paved way for making Nakshatra important in Classical Indian Astrology. But this is obviously conspiratorial.

It has now been established through thorough archeological proofs that Veda is outlandish for Indian soil.
